Revision of Beta-test versions of Pactix contract forms from Thu, 02/07/2008 - 08:31

Here are beta-test versions of two interactive, highly-configurable contract forms in Adobe PDF format. Each contains both short-form and long-form versions.

Master Services Agreement

Nondisclosure Agreement

NOTE: Some users have reported problems opening the attachments in their browsers. The problem appears to be in Adobe Acrobat when operating inside a browser. Apologies for the inconvenience. To work around this problem, please do the following: (1) RIGHT-click on the link; (2) save the file to your computer; and (3) open it in Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader.

Give your lawyer a great head start: S/he can save time (and thus your money) by configuring either the short-form or long-form version, by checking boxes and filling in blanks.

Save time reviewing the other side's contract by getting them to use this Pactix form, so that you can focus on their changes to language you've already seen.

The form automatically generates a summary page of key terms and conditions, for handy future reference.

See Advantages of using Pactix fill-in contract forms.

(You can download the Adobe Reader software for free from Adobe.)

The editing-license code for these beta-test versions will expire at 12:01 a.m. local time on April 1, 2008. Not coincidentally, that's the end of the first quarter (for calendar-year companies).

After that time, you'll still be able to print each document in its then-existing form. If you want to do further edits after that time, however, you will need to purchase and install a new license code. More information about that will be released later.
